Is Facebook worth the time?
Questioning whether Facebook is worth the time and cost for your small business is a valid concern. It wasn’t that long ago, after all, when Facebook was nothing more than a distraction for most employees.
So when searching for the answer to that question, we realized we couldn’t hear it from anyone other than a news giant like Forbes. And as it so happens, just yesterday, Forbes published the article titled, “The Facebook Lesson About Value Of Users.” In it, Forbes editors discuss the enormity of the reigning social media king and touch on the overall phenomena surrounding Facebook.
In Forbes terms, “What would you say about a company that has 900 million people – one out of every 13 Earthlings – using its consumable product virtually every day? That’s an unbelievable marketing and product adoption success story, isn’t it?
“The future of social media platforms, used to help us connect with and build communities among friends, family and customers, is no longer being debated,” Forbes reports. “Social media may seem like a craze, but it’s not a fad and isn’t going away.”
So point blank, the answer is clear. Yes. Facebook is worth your small business’s time and efforts.
And beyond its enormous reach, it’s free to use. What more can you ask?
